Teaching Philosophy

Eileen Sanchez – Library & Admissions

It’s a privilege to be a part of a school community where everyone wants the same standards and beliefs instilled in their child’s education and life. I raise my daughter with my faith and these same values and I trust St. Stans compliment that.

Bianca Lopez

I teach because it is equally rewarding and challenging. I am constantly being reminded that this is my vocation. I enjoy instilling confidence, self-awareness, and problem-solving skills to each student and seeing each one carry those skills onto their school journey. Catholic education is simply the place for me to teach and grow.

Jeanette DeLeon – Kindergarten

I teach because I love working with children. To me teaching is a joy. Seeing the children faces when they know they accomplished and learned a concept fills my heart. I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach in the Catholic School and share my love for the catholic education.

Kathi Azevedo – 1st Grade

I teach because I love to work with children and love to see the progress that they make during the school year.  Teaching my students about their faith is a wonderful privilege that I am given working at St. Stanislaus School.  I want to help them reach their potential both academically and spiritually.

Anne Everhard – 5th Grade

I teach because I love to watch children learn and grow. I love to see their smile when a new concept “clicks”. I teach at a Catholic school because I like to share my faith. God belongs in school and I feel strongly that Catholic schools are beneficial to our kids.

Yesenia Aguirre – 2nd Grade

I teach because I love helping others. To me teaching and education as a whole means “opportunity.”  It allows me to pass on what others have done for me.

Jenna Miller – 3rd Grade

I teach because I believe God has called me to this vocation. I teach because I know I am able to make a difference in the lives of my students, whether academic or spiritual.

Amanda Miranda – 5th Grade

I teach because I know that every child is special to our Lord and I feel called to help nourish and support them through their education. I have had the blessing of Catholic education and know that it is a beautiful gift. I hope to bring our Faith into all that we do in 5th grade.

Scott Milavong – 6th Grade

I teach for the “oh” and “aha” moments. The facial expression and reaction the moment a student just grasped a concept is priceless. When you witness this, you get an adrenaline rush.

Carolyn Raspo – 8th Grade

I teach because I hope to give back for the many blessings I have been given.  I hope that I can make a difference in the lives of my students.  I value each and every one of them for their unique gifts.  I love teaching at St. Stanislaus because of the wonderful community we have.
